PCYC Bornhoffen works in partnership with teaching staff from Assisi Catholic College to plan and facilitate their annual Year 7 school outdoor education program.
The focus of the program is to facilitate connections, building of friendships and development of student confidence as they transition into high school. The students participate in a facilitated experiential and adventure-based learning program that is designed to help set the ‘climate’ for the student’s high school experience at Assisi. The teaching staff from the College are very committed to the program and work closely with our facilitators to ensure the experiences on the program are applied into the everyday school setting.
“I am responsible for organising our Year 7 Camp each year. I have many options, yet I will not go past the incredible opportunities that Bornhoffen present to us. As a group of approximately 140 students and over 10 staff, our every need is catered to both comfortably and professionally. Accommodation is excellent and the food is exceptional, yet it is the capable, professional and approachable staff who ensure our continued bookings.”
